Fun Factory Smartvibe Tango Vibrator Review
Fun Factory Smartvibe Tango Vibrator Review

Tango is a Smartvibe Vibrator from Fun Factory Sex Toys, made in Germany with quality materials and innovative technology. The box simply communicates Tango's key features, that it takes 4 AAA batteries, is waterproof and made from superior silicone, which is phthalate free. The designers line drawn representation on the front of the box and peek of numbered diagram behind the vibrator itself hints at its technical capability and Germanic design with little in the way of decorative appeal, aside from a boudoir style pattern on the back of the box. Fun Factory certainly don't want you to struggle with using Tango with a full foolproof (numbered)diagram inside with instruction leaflet that covers every last inch of the vibe.
Tango is a BISMARTVibe, which I assume, points to the dual stimulation capability of this vibrator in the smart vibes collection. The Turbo Booster lettering at the base of Tango's box certainly catches the eye and promises much in terms of Tango's pleasure giving properties - release the beast!
To assign Tango a genre would be the rabbit vibrator with its stretching shaft for penetration and clitoral stimulator that sits to the front of the toy. The first thing to notice when Tango sits in your hand is the soft texture of the silicone shaft. The material can be pinched together with lots of give and bent forward to almost touch the clitoral stimulator. Both parts of the dual stimulator are curved with the notable bulges at the underside of Tango’s tip and clitoris facing side of the front arm.
When inserted both places pleasure the front internal wall of the vagina and the labia where extra pressure is appreciated, in my books this is brilliant design thinking.
Pop in 4 AAA batteries, press the + button and Tango hums into life with a vibration which is deeply resonating and extremely quiet. Pressing the + button again seemed to increase the vibration before a series of throbs and pulses ensued. I couldn’t quite make sense of the sequences and in this instance the instructions were very complicated so I chucked them to one side and found a setting I liked. The pulsation setting of Tango was impressive when held in the hand with a pulsing wave of stimulation travelling from base to tip but I couldn’t feel that full effect when inserted. The flexible nature of the shaft was great for bending Tango against the vaginal wall whilst the clitoral arm had a pointed ridge to the top, which massages the labia really effectively. The only real gripe with Tango is how the booster button works. You have to hold the button down at the end and as soon as you release the press it stops working. As I wanted the booster on most of the time I had to hold the vibrator in such a way that my finger could stay pressed at the end.
The big benefits to Tango are the incredibly low noise level, penetrating vibration and soft silicone, which was silky, smooth. The shape and texture overall is fabulous and although I didn’t put it to the test, Tango is also fully waterproof. Its also worth noting that the size of Tango is quite generous (certainly compared to many rabbit style vibrators I have owned) which helps with adding pressure to the clitoris and gaining internal pleasure during use (especially against the g-spot).
