Vibe Therapy Serene Review
Vibe Therapy Serene Review

Being someone who prefers a tranquil environment when using Vibrators, preferably in a peaceful setting in comfortable, calm surroundings (sex on the stairs or against the washing machine has never been my thing), I was very pleased to be invited to review the Vibe Therapy Serene Vibrator and I thought it would be just my type of sex toy. Sure enough, with its smooth appearance and cool, lilac colouring, first impressions indicated that this would be a good addition to my collection.
Whilst I found the colouring really attractive, my partner really wasn’t very sure about it. I think the really pretty, but definitely very girlie lilac put him off a bit – it’s a definite women’s sex toy! But it appeals to me for that reason, specifically because of the femininity (I love feeling sexy, but I also love to feel feminine). I was also intrigued by the ridges and was eager to try something that I or we could take into the bath and have fun with. I was really looking forward to giving it a try!
The packaging is very stylish – it makes you feel you have a high quality product, no tackiness at all. The feel of the Vibe Therapy Serene itself is lovely – the silicone is really soft and smooth and the shape is just right – not too big and not too small. Definitely my kind of toy from the visual perspective. Obviously, though, the proof is in the testing!
We ran a bath, put on some music, poured a couple of glasses of wine and we were ready to play. This was the first time we’d incorporated a sex toy into our bath time pleasure, but after only a few minutes I knew it would be a regular activity.
My partner was enjoying it as much as I was – he loves to see the pleasure I get from him sliding the vibrator in and out, and the new experience of grown-up toys in the bath was working for us both. Our bathroom is normally filled with other types of toys, definitely not of the adult version, so we felt we were claiming back some territory!
The ridges really worked too. I wasn’t sure whether they were just gimmicky, but they definitely enhanced the sensations and I was able to achieve a strong orgasm in no time, which is something I like. A quick one first, then a slow build up to the next. This was working a treat. I felt really satisfied.
We decided to move into the bedroom (the water was getting cold) to see how the Vibe Therapy Serene performed on dry land. We weren’t disappointed. Firstly, it was very quiet (very important when you have a busy household). Secondly, the feeling was just as good, which made it a really versatile sex toy. Thirdly, the three settings were each noticeably different. I normally like it best on the lowest setting as this gives me a slow build up and doesn’t feel too frantic. That said, a bit of frantic is sometimes just what we’re after, so it really does cater for all moods and every eventuality.
I would definitely recommend the Vibe Therapy Serene. It is a high quality product, that is great both in water (we’ve used it in the shower too, which my partner really enjoys) and out. Personally, I think it’s good value – there are certainly cheaper vibrators about, but you get what you pay for and this feels like it’s built to last. A great addition to any collection, you definitely won’t be disappointed so go on, treat yourself.
