It’s not an over-exaggeration to say that Vibe Therapy Zenith is one of the most beautiful of its type that I’ve ever seen. Evoking the look of a high-end cosmetic or beauty product the packaging is simple but captivating. The outer box front is plain white with the Vibe Therapy logo etched in silver and an ethereal multi-coloured smoke motif crawling up the side. This then opens to reveal the Rabbit Vibrator nestled on a pink velvet/felt like sleeve. This sleeve looks suitably opulent but be aware that the toy will pick up a lot of these fibres so it will need a quick clean before you start to play. The back of the box, a warm baby pink, displays the sex toy’s features, benefits and battery requirements.
A variation on the famous ‘rabbit’ design, the shaft and clitoral massager are moulded from the same piece, the lines are smooth and it just begs to be stroked. The main body has two very slightly raised (3mm approx) curved lips, rather like the petals of a tulip, about halfway down, which add to the sensation as it pushes inside.
The battery compartment opens with a twist and an internal holder slides out into which you place the three batteries. Once this is slid back inside and the cap twisted shut, the item is completely waterproof and ready to go. This is made from top quality, 100% medical grade silicon and it feels divine. Smooth and sensuous to the touch, it doesn’t aim for a realistic sensation, but something different and altogether delightful. And with 6 colour choices, there is an option to suit everyone’s personal preference.
Controlled by three small buttons, one for the power, one for the rotations and one for the vibrations, using this vibrator couldn’t be simpler – power up and scroll through the settings one by one, either separately or in conjunction to find your optimum level of enjoyment. The rabbit fits perfectly in the hand whether you are pleasuring yourself or using this on someone else. The controls are well placed, in exactly the spot where your thumb will naturally fall. They also light up a brilliant blue for easy navigation in the dark.
With three main shaft and seven clitoral vibration settings there are enough modes on this toy to make for a very long and satisfying evening’s experimentation. The tip of the shaft is slightly curved (for peerless G-spot stimulation) and rotates at three different speeds depending upon your preference. The clitoral portion is slightly reminiscent of the curved, smooth lines of a dolphin’s head, and tapers to being almost, but not quite, pointy. In which case, care must be taken to properly align this or it can cause an unwanted ‘poking’ sensation when thrusting the shaft. That said, when placed directly against the clitoris and labia, the all-encompassing feeling is quite breathtaking. The vibrations are strong and insistent, but gentle enough to tease.
My only slight issue with this, otherwise impeccably designed toy, is that due to the rounded bottom it will not stand up on a level surface which means if you lay it aside for whatever reason, it has to be cleaned before using again. It is also quite long (10” approx from top to bottom with about 6” of penetration possibility), so perhaps not ideal for slipping in a handbag.
The main shaft rotation is virtually silent and only when the clitoral vibrator is activated do you hear any noise. It certainly isn’t loud enough to intrude on whatever fantasy you may be having, though it is probably best to shut the bedroom door if you don’t live alone, or don’t want to be disturbed.
Overall this is genuinely one of the best sex toys I have ever used. It looks stunning (I literally spent 20 minutes marvelling over how good it looked) and the design and functions are spot on. At over £50 this is no cheap novelty, but if you appreciate good design (and even better orgasms!) then every penny will be well spent. Cared for correctly, I have no doubt that this toy will outlast most, if not all, battery-powered toys in any collection. I would recommend purchasing some specialised sex toy cleaner to keep it in optimum condition but the quality and design is such that it will be yours to enjoy for many years to come.
