Rock Chick Review By Kat

This curious looking purple number arrives in a semi-see through box (which just fits in an outstretched palm) proclaiming, “Stop Rabbiting…Start Rockin’.”, a reference to the rabbit vibrators that took the world by storm not so long ago. The revolutionary ‘U-shape’ design, as opposed to the standard phallic shape of most women’s sex toys, aims to provide hands free dual clitoral and G Spot stimulation.
Made from high quality silicone, the rock chick is sturdy but nicely flexible allowing it to easily slip inside. The contours are matched to the woman’s shape; one end nudges the G Spot while the other, slightly ridged, end nestles against the vulva where the vibrating RO-80mm bullet is situated. The vibe is certainly powerful for its size and works wonderfully as a clitoral vibrator when used by itself. Unfortunately the vibrations are not strong enough to sustain and travel throughout the whole toy, meaning that while your clitoris will certainly feel the benefit, in terms of G Spot stimulation, the intensity of vibration is significantly reduced. This is slightly disappointing but does not detract from the overall function of the toy. The bullet is operated with a simple 1-press button and has only the two settings - either ‘on’ or ‘off’. The battery is easy to access, just unscrew the cap and shake gently if you need to replace it.
Noise wise, the Rock Chick vibrator emits nothing but a gentle purr (excluding any noises of your own making, of course). The reasonably compact design and shape means that this toy makes a perfect travel companion and it certainly won’t take up too much space in your bedside cabinet. It is easy to clean, dishwasher safe and can be sterilised in boiling water - just remove the bullet (TIP – don’t pull, wiggle from side to side with pressure at the base). It is also worth noting that, as this vibrator is made from silicone, you should only use water based lubricants.
Simply for the level of thought and design that has gone into this sex toy I believe the Rock Chick earns its money. It looks gorgeous, it is super soft to the touch and it is 100% waterproof which adds another layer of potential fun (hot tub anyone?!). The rocking technique is not easy to master but is well worth the effort and practise. You can rock sitting up, lying down, on the edge of the bed or with your partner’s help (though, if I’m honest, the nature of this product makes it more appropriate for solo play). You have to find the position that works for you. Initially you are more likely to experience a clitoral orgasm with this toy but when you get into the swing (or should that be ‘rock’?) of things, this innovative vibrator has the potential to deliver toe-curling vaginal orgasms.
The box is covered in instructions but if you are still unsure there is a web address with a link to an instructional video that should give you more than enough inspiration to really get ready to rock!
