Sex Toys Care Guide

Look after your toys & they will look after you!
Cleaning
Always wash your toy after use.
Silicone - Use Toy cleaner or soap & warm water. Non-battery operated toys can be boiled or steam sterilised for 2/3 minutes.
Latex or jelly - Toy cleaner or soap & warm water. Remember to rinse off really well don't just introduce your sex toy to the rinse.
Plastic/Acrylic & Glass - Toy cleaner or soap & warm water. Non bettery operated toys can be submerged in boiling water or boiled for 2/3 minutes.
Boudoir Tip: Put non battery Silicone toys on the top shelf of the dishwasher - the perfect sterile wash!
Care
Don't run your toy for too long at a time.
Most vibrators are small & should only be run for 20/30 minutes in one session.
The motors are small & need to cool down. They can overheat & continual lengthy sessions reduce the life span of your toy.
Do not use silicone lubricants on silicone sex toys. As a safe general rule we would advise to only use Water based sex lubes on toys & silicone lubes as a body/skin lubricant.
Do not use petroleum based oil products (baby oil or vaseline) on latex it will degrade. Stick to water based lubes.
Storage
Always remove the batteries when you have finished so that they can't leak down or otherwise corrupt your toy.
Be sure that your toy is completely dry before storage to discourage mould & mildew.
Keep each sex toy seperate by wrapping them in a soft cloth.
Boudoir Tip: Re-cycle old socks they are perfect sex toy storage bags!
Some materials are not compatible & your sex toy can degrade or discolour.
Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid discolouration & dterioration.
When to replace your toy
No sex toy lasts forever, they are much like a pair of well loved shoes - the more you wear them the quicker they wear out!
In the interests of safe play it is time to say goodbye when:
Cracks are visible in plastic, acrylic or glass toys
The material is deteriorating
There is battery corrosion in the pack
Mechanical features are slow or have stopped working
Just be sure to replace your sensual friend & do not attempt to repair it yourself.
Enjoy!
